Few-nucleon matrix elements in pionless effective field theory in a finite volume

Pionless effective field theory in a finite volume (FVEFT$_{\pi\!/}$) is investigated as framework for the analysis of multi-nucleon spectra and matrix elements calculated lattice QCD (LQCD). By combining FVEFT$_{\pi\!/}$ with stochastic variational method, nuclei atomic number $A\in\{2,3\}$ are matched to existing finite-volume LQCD calculations at heavier-than-physical quark masses corresponding pion mass $m_\pi=806$ MeV, thereby enabling infinite-volume binding energies be determined using calculations. Based on wavefunctions that constructed this approach, various local operators computed same volume, determining relevant one two-body EFT counterterms an extrapolation infinite volume. As examples, scalar, tensor, axial considered, well magnetic moments isovector longitudinal momentum fraction.
